THREE LUCKY INDIVIDUALS will be selected to spend their summer at Andark Diving and Watersports’; world-class diving facilities, learning the ropes and fast-tracking their skills in the diving industry, while becoming a PADI Divemaster at no cost to them.
Andark uses an internship approach to give the scholars the best experience of the dive industry while earning their PADI Divemaster certification.
Along with being based at Andark Diver Training centre, you will also be diving at other locations in the region. You will gain your first professional diving certification working alongside Andark’s team of PADI Instructors in the indoor pool and Europe’s first purpose-built diver training lake, while also learning how a dive centre runs behind the scenes, and helping both novice and experienced divers to learn new skills, as you would, as a qualified PADI Divemaster.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
WHEN THE PROGRAMME RUNS
The programme runs from mid-June to mid-September but dates will be confirmed after successful interviews.
WHERE YOU ARE BASED
Andark’s diver training centre on Bridge Road,Lower Swanwick, Southampton, Hampshire.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
All we require from you are a positive attitude and willingness to work hard, as some days will be long. You need to be self-motivated, and have the skills and enthusiasm to work with people of all ages and backgrounds. You will need to be available for the entire period between mid-June and mid-September, as this is an intensive programme with a full schedule.
Pre-requisite
18 years old or older (there is no maximum age)
Certified PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent qualification(s)
Prepared to devote 5 days a week (2 days of which will be weekends) over the scholarship.
After a successful interview process – Must be in possession of a HSE MA2 Medical that states you are ‘fit to dive’ two weeks before the first day of your Divemaster Scholarship. The candidate will bare at the cost of the MA2 medical. Further details to be provided at interview.
The Offer
