PADI FULL FACE MASK DIVER

COURSE OVERVIEW

The PADI Full Face Mask Specialty Course is designed to familiarise divers with the theory, skills, knowledge, procedures, hazards, benefits and enjoyment of diving with a full face mask. The goals of the course are to develop the student’s knowledge of the different types of full face mask and “bailouts” (alternate air supplies) available and to dive in the pool with a variety of full face masks and bailout options and conduct two open water dives with a full face mask.

COURSE PREREQUISITES

PADI Open Water Diver or PADI Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another organisation)

Minimum age 12 years

HOW IS THE COURSE RUN

One evening in the pool 19.00 – 21.00 followed by

One day (2 dives) in Andark Lake
