PADI DEEP DIVER

COURSE OVERVIEW

When you dive below 18 metres/60 feet, there are special safety considerations. If you’re ready to expand your boundaries, a PADI Instructor will help you gain the skills and confidence to explore to a maximum depth of 40 metres/130 feet.

COURSE PREREQUISITES

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization).

Be medically fit to dive, please carefully read the medical declaration below.

Complete all PADI Deep Speciality E-learning modules prior the course start date.

Minimum age 15 years old

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

2 day course

HOW IS THE COURSE RUN

Your training starts by reviewing reasons for deep diving and how important it is to know your personal limits. During four deep dives with your instructor, you’ll go over:

Specialised deep diving equipment.

Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control.

Managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety considerations.

Life time certification.

Use of all the expensive scuba equipment (suits, weights, cylinders, BCD and

regulator)

FORMS TO COMPLETE

This must be filled in and returned before taking part in the DSD session.
