PADI TEC GAS BLENDER
COURSE OVERVIEW
The Tec Gas Blender course teaches you to blend enriched air nitrox and helium-blend gases using one or more blending methods.
COURSE PREREQUISITES
PADI Enriched Air Diver (or qualifying certification from another organisation)
Pre-study course manual and fill in review sections before start of the course
Minimum age :18 years.
HOW IS THE COURSE RUN
One day, or two evenings
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
The course includes practical application sessions where you will learn:
About the advantages and disadvantages of different types of blending.
To blend Enriched Air and Trimix blends to within one percent of the target mix.
About the potential hazards related to handling oxygen, and how to manage those risks.
The steps for oxygen cleaning equipment, along with the requirements for oxygen service.
