SUSTAINABILITY

Here at Andark we strive to make simple changes to the way we do things; we want to continue to preserve and protect the ocean and reduce our carbon footprint. That is why we are continually looking at ways we can make our brand and business more sustainable.

What we do?

We use LED Lighting in the shop, to improve our efficiency. We will continue to evolve and make improvements to our store to ensure we are running as efficiently as possible.

One of the fundamental steps we take is to reuse and recycle as many boxes as we can from our suppliers, we use recyclable brown paper tape, cardboard bubble wrap for all our online orders and paper bags in store.

Sometimes, when it is not possible to reuse boxes, we will use them for storage in our stock rooms. We are also looking into initiatives  where we can have unusable boxes shredded down to make packing material for some of our online orders and more delicate items.

We will continue to work with our brands closely to ensure products are delivered to us in the most economical way to reduce our carbon footprints

We hope to implement some great eco initiatives over the coming months, to help you as an ocean lover to become more proactive in conserving our oceans and water ways. We want to offer greener dive and water sports products so you can continue to make a greener choice. Some of our major brands are already making waves in committing to provide better products.
