Course information
An enjoyable introduction to boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling.
- Minimum age is 8 years old (Under 16s will be issued with an endorsed certificate)
- The one day course covers launching and preparing the boat, basic boat handling, including handling the boat under power, leaving and coming alongside and being towed, and the use of safety equipment. After completing the course, you will be able to drive under supervision.

Can be run on the first day of the RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course subject to Instructor availability.
Course price
£260 per person
Price includes buoyancy aids, basic wet weather protection if required, log book and fuel.

- All courses run from 9am to 5:30pm (approximately)
- Maximum number per course is 3.
