Discover the underwater adventure
Interested in learning to Scuba Dive and about the adventure of Scuba Diving and the true sensation of weightlessness? Then you’ll love this.
The 1½ hour sessions start with a briefing from one of our professionally trained instructors and then it’s into the shallow end to put on the Scuba equipment and take your first breaths underwater.
You will be introduced to the basic concepts of Scuba and at your instructor’s discretion you will be invited into the deep end of our pool (minimum age 10 years old)
PADI Discover Scuba experience – costs £35.00 – once you are confident with the scuba equipment you can proceed down to the deep end of the Andark pool (3.4m) to experience pressure.
Course Information
- Suitable for anybody in reasonable health – a medical declaration is to be completed and if you answer YES to any of the questions you MUST contact Andark on 01489 581755 to obtain a PADI Medical Form to take to a GP to confirm you are fit to dive before you come for the try dive.
- Minimum age; 10 years old, no maximum age limit!
Experiences are run weekly on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6.45pm,just ring up to book your place and pay. A schedule of daytime dates can be found below and you will need to pre-book and pre-pay for these sessions.
Maximum group size is 12 for PADI Discover Scuba Diving . Larger groups can be accommodated upon request, however, groups of more than 12 will be split into two and will use scuba in the shallow end for half the session and snorkel or swim in the deep end for the other half.

What’s Included?
All equipment and fun is supplied, all you need to bring is swimming costume, an old T shirt to wear in the pool and a towel.
