WHAT IS DIVE PROJECT CORNWALL
Dive Project Cornwall is a new and exciting, not-for-profit community interest company and is the inspiration of Andrew Forster, CEO and Founder of Leven Media Group. Having moved his family to Cornwall from Bath, Andrew’s passion for marine conservation along with scuba-diving developed and he soon realised how lucky he was to be able to have this experience, whilst recognising that many others will never get the chance.
DIVE PROJECT CORNWALL is in two parts – an EDUCATION programme and EXPERIENCE opportunity.
The EDUCATION programme will educate hundreds of thousands of young people and millions of adults, raising the awareness of the importance of the planet’s marine ENVIRONMENT and its vital role in our very own existence.
The EXPERIENCE opportunity is a competition for 400 lucky teenagers to win the EXPERIENCE of a lifetime, a 6-day, life-changing trip to Cornwall to learn to scuba dive.
WHERE WE COME IN
A ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME EXPERIENCE TO PROTECT THE OCEANS
At the heart of Dive Project Cornwall is a competition for 400 lucky teenagers to WIN the experience of a lifetime;a 6-day, life-changing trip to Cornwall where they will learn to scuba dive with PADI, enjoy outdoor adventures, take up beach-related activities and attend presentations from leading marine industry experts.
The aim is for these 400 lucky teenagers to become PADI Open Water qualified and Dive Project Cornwall Ocean Influencers who positively engage, inspire and motivate the next generation to save our planet.
We need to raise £3,975 to go towards the Dive Project Cornwall education fund, which will allow us to spend the week in Cornwall next summer (2023), where we will teach 20 teenagers how to scuba dive and become certified PADI Open Water Divers and help to support an incredible mission to save our seas.
