SCUBAPRO X-Black 2024 BCD with BPI

The SCUBAPRO X-Black 2024 is a premium front-adjustable buoyancy compensator designed for experienced recreational and professional divers who demand high lift capacity, durability, and refined underwater control. While retaining its proven core design, the 2024 version introduces key material upgrades and usability improvements for enhanced performance and longevity.

The bladder is now constructed using a high-quality dual-layer design: 420 denier PU-coated nylon on the inside combined with durable 840 denier nylon on the outside. These layers are high-frequency welded and rigorously tested to resist scratches, abrasion, and punctures, ensuring reliable performance even in demanding diving environments.

A major enhancement in the X-Black 2024 is the redesigned storage system. The BCD now features four large zippered cargo pockets (two on each side), increasing carrying capacity while improving weight distribution and balance underwater. A dedicated octopus pocket provides secure storage for a backup regulator, while a small pocket on the cummerbund allows quick access to essential items.

The exclusive SCUBAPRO AirFlex system delivers adjustable buoyancy performance through expandable rear side lobes. These lobes inflate when extra lift is needed and retract using red bungees to maintain a streamlined profile during the dive, ensuring excellent stability and control at depth.

Comfort and durability are also improved through refined materials and construction. The backpack padding features Airnet® lining for improved drainage and reduced water retention. Shoulder and cummerbund areas are streamlined for a more ergonomic fit, while elastic shoulder epaulets replace hook-and-loop closures for better durability and security.

The X-Black 2024 also includes SCUBAPRO’s Super Cinch tank buckle system for maximum cylinder stability, quick-release integrated weight pouches for safety, and rear trim weight pockets for optimal underwater balance. Multiple hard-anodized aluminum D-rings provide extensive attachment points for accessories and dive equipment.

Built for versatility, sizes S to 2XL are CE certified for both single tank and twin tank configurations when used with the SCUBAPRO Bibo Kit (sold separately), making the X-Black 2024 a flexible solution for a wide range of diving setups.
