Constructed using eco-friendly limestone neoprene with Eco Carbon Black derived from recycled rubber tires, the suit reduces environmental impact while maintaining premium durability and insulation. Water-based Aqua-X glues are used throughout the manufacturing process, eliminating harmful solvents and supporting more sustainable production methods.

Designed to minimize water ingress, the Proteus II incorporates Fourth Element’s renowned Hydrolock inner neck seal and Glideskin wrist seals. Double-glued, blind-stitched, and taped seams create a highly effective barrier against heat loss while enhancing durability and comfort throughout the dive.

Additional Hexcore thermal lining on the torso provides concentrated insulation where warmth is most critical, while Thermoflex thermal lining throughout the remainder of the suit delivers consistent comfort and thermal efficiency. Internal PU ankle seals further reduce water movement inside the suit, helping maintain warmth during prolonged exposure.

Despite its 3mm thickness, the Women’s Proteus II incorporates advanced thermal features typically found in much thicker wetsuits, allowing it to perform similarly to many 5mm suits while offering greater flexibility, reduced buoyancy, and enhanced freedom of movement.
