Building on the award-winning legacy of the original Hydros Pro, the SCUBAPRO Hydros Pro 2 represents a major evolution in high-performance buoyancy control systems. Designed for demanding recreational and professional divers, it combines advanced materials, modular engineering, and travel-friendly construction to deliver superior comfort, control, and durability in all diving environments.

At the core of the Hydros Pro 2 is the all-new Monorail Weight System, featuring a direct-mount, holster-less slide-and-lock rail design. This intuitive system allows for secure, single-handed operation with Auto-Lock functionality and an easy-pull D-handle for quick release, improving both safety and convenience underwater.

The heavy-duty bladder is constructed from ultra-durable, quick-dry, double-coated fabric that resists abrasion, fading, and chemical exposure. It does not absorb water, making the BCD lighter after diving and ideal for travel due to minimal water retention and faster drying times.

Comfort and ergonomics are significantly enhanced with the new Ergo-Lite backpack, which is 25% lighter than the previous generation. Its body-contoured design, soft padding, and integrated flex zones ensure a natural fit, while dual carry handles improve handling and loading convenience. The articulated shoulder system with Kit-Up Assist further simplifies donning and doffing by locking into position when needed.

The Super Cinch 2 tank band system offers improved simplicity and durability, allowing fast and secure cylinder changes with minimal effort. Combined with the modular BC-4-Life design philosophy, the Hydros Pro 2 is fully customizable and easy to service, extending product lifespan and adaptability.

Constructed with SCUBAPRO’s ultra-durable Monprene® gel harness, the system eliminates fabric, Velcro, and zippers for enhanced longevity, UV resistance, and chemical durability. Its near-zero inherent buoyancy design reduces required lead and improves underwater control.

Additional performance features include a Tri-Bungee Retraction System for streamlined air-cell control, cross-flow channel design for efficient airflow and deflation at any angle, and a dorsal weight wing with Cordura® reinforcement for added durability. The Smart-Pack system allows the entire BCD to fold flat for compact storage and travel convenience.

Multiple mounting points and optional accessories support full customization, enabling divers to configure the system with knives, lights, SMBs, hoses, and more.
