WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Diving at work means diving to get to your place of work (camera operator, hull inspection etc) and is very different from recreational diving where you control your own dive.We will teach you how to use full face masks, in water comms, tendered diver and line signals. You will learn how to work underwater with hand tools, conduct surveys, searches and recovery. You will be continually assessed on your diving ability, rescue skills and your ability to work as part of a professional team.

The theory covers the diving at work regs, risk assessments, how to run a dive site, US Navy and Canadian decompression tables, air purity, cylinder filling and safe working practises. The theory is verified with 5 written exams.
