Description
PADI RESCUE DIVER ONLY – FOR DIVERS WHO ALREADY HAVE EFR COURSE. IF YOU DON’T THEN CHOOSE RESCUE WITH EFR OPTION.
COURSE PREREQUISITES
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or Junior Advanced Open Water (or have a qualifying certification from another training organization)
An appropriate certification in first aid and CPR within the previous 24 months
Be medically fit to dive, please carefully read the medical declaration below
Prestudy course manual and fill in review sections before the course start date
Minimum age
12 years (12 to 14 year olds will be certified as PADI Junior Rescue Diver)
How is the course run?
Day 1 is theory, where you will review your Knowledge Development with an instructor and complete a short exam. It is then into the pool, where you will practice rescue techniques and finding the ones that work best for yourself.
Day 2 is called Scenario Day, where you will come across an array of different rescue scenarios and get evaluated on how you react to the problems that arrive during the day.
