RF1 Men’s Freediving Vest

The RF1 Men’s Freediving Vest is a purpose-built thermal layer designed to complement the RF1 Freediving Suit. Created for recreational freedivers seeking greater warmth in cooler waters, this vest provides targeted insulation while maintaining the flexibility and streamlined profile required for efficient underwater performance.

Constructed from 3mm neoprene, the vest is worn over the RF1 suit to add an extra layer of thermal protection around the body’s core. When combined with the RF1 suit, it creates up to 6mm of insulation across the critical torso area while adding 3mm of thermal protection around the head. This increased warmth helps reduce heat loss during longer dives and cooler water sessions without adding excessive bulk.

The integrated hood incorporates Glideskin panels across the hood and shoulders, helping improve hydrodynamics by reducing drag as you move through the water. These smooth panels also contribute to overall comfort and flexibility, allowing for unrestricted movement during descents, ascents, and surface swimming.

A key feature of the RF1 Vest is its ear vent system. Strategically placed vent holes allow a small amount of air into the hood, helping prevent uncomfortable pressure against the ears as depth increases. Multiple vent openings accommodate different ear positions, making equalization easier and improving overall comfort during dives.
