Women’s Thermocline Jacket
£199.00
The Fourth Element Women’s Thermocline Jacket delivers lightweight, neutrally buoyant thermal protection without neoprene. Made with recycled materials and breathable, waterproof fabric, it offers comfort for scuba diving, snorkeling, freediving, and surface water sports while remaining quick-drying, machine washable, and easy to wear.
The Women’s Thermocline Jacket offers a modern alternative to traditional neoprene wetsuits, making it an excellent choice for individuals with neoprene sensitivities as well as anyone seeking lightweight, versatile thermal protection. Designed for scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, freediving, paddle sports, and other water-based activities, it combines warmth, comfort, and convenience in a highly adaptable performance garment.
Its innovative multi-layer fabric system works differently from conventional wetsuits. The soft inner fleece draws moisture away from the skin while the breathable membrane allows excess moisture to evaporate through the outer nylon surface. This keeps you more comfortable when preparing for a dive, participating in surface water sports, or spending time out of the water between sessions.
Once submerged, the membrane helps trap a thin layer of water close to the body, reducing the circulation of colder water and enhancing thermal performance. The result is effective insulation comparable to a 2mm neoprene suit without the bulk, weight, or restrictions commonly associated with traditional wetsuits.
The front zip entry makes the jacket easy to put on and remove while allowing ventilation before entering the water. Its lightweight, neutrally buoyant design eliminates the need to compensate for added buoyancy, making it ideal for divers seeking streamlined performance.
Practicality is another major advantage of the Thermocline system. The fabric dries rapidly, often within an hour, making it ideal for multiple dives or water sessions in a single day. Unlike neoprene, it can be machine washed and packed without concern for creasing or damage, making it a convenient travel companion for any aquatic adventure.
